Sloped End Sections:
Recent data by state and federally sponsored research studies show flatter slopes on roadsides and approaches greatly reduce the hazard potential to the motoring public. 4:1 and 6:1 road side and approach embankments have greatly improved the safety of highways. Use of safety end sections maintain the safety design of the flattened roadway embankments. 4:1 and 6:1 safety end sections are available in sizes from 15" to 60" in round pipe and 18" to 72" equivalent in arched pipe. Safety end sections are available with or without safety bars.
